About Us
BaitDeals.Com was founded by lifelong fishermen and outdoorsmen who want to share their experiences, but also had the idea that there had to be a better way to funnel all the good deals and discounts out there to a central location. We know individually finding and reading a ton of Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, and Retail Sites is time consuming and there had to be a better way to find good gear and save money.
Our Goal: BaitDeals.com seeks to find, and bring together, deals, news, and resources from multiple sources into one place for the Bass Fishing Community’s benefit.
Our Mission: Find and promote deals, and information for fishermen to save money; promote quality to enable fishermen to do their best; and be honest and forthright in the process. Also, catch ‘em large, catch ‘em often, and catch ‘em with friends.
Our Vision: Bait Deals has a vision where not only will we identify and find the best in deals to save fishermen money on the gear that serious fishermen use, but also have our community fishing buddies and pro staff help to find deals for each other. Win-Win.
Additional Things:
Promote Custom Gear: We realize that there is a large community of artisans and craftsmen that make and manufacture unreal quality and innovative tackle and gear. We know there is a huge market for their wares, but they are SO hard to find. We’ll be profiling these people and helping to promote them as well.
Blog: Our site will have blog posts with editorial, how-to, etc. that will hopefully serve as a resource for all.
Links: You’ll find links to other fishing resources such as pro or industry blogs, manufacturer sites, and retail outlets.
Youth: If there is something going on that promotes getting youth into the sport of fishing, LET US KNOW, we know that fishing is something that every kid should get to do for a lifetime. If we can help promote something on the site to further this cause let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
So, we are all about promoting great gear at great prices. We want to know what you like (or don’t) and we’ll work on getting your suggestions directly contributing to shaping the site.
